District 47 is proud to support the Crystal Lake Food Pantry and looks forward to participating in the 28th annual Community Harvest Food Drive. The pantry provides more than 100,000 pounds of food each year to local families and relies on community support during the month of November to stock its shelves. In District 47, the drive kicks off on October 29th and will run through November 13th.
See the Community Harvest fliers below for most-wanted items. Food donations can be sent in with students to any D47 school, including Wehde Early Childhood Center and the District office, through November 13th. Monetary donations are also accepted; checks can be made payable to the Crystal Lake Food Pantry or donations can be made online at clfoodpantry.org. D47 schools appreciate any and all donations and are excited to be involved in this annual tradition and important community event!
