Lundahl principal Angie Compere and speech language pathologist Katie Meyer accepted the Judy Engebretson Humanitarian Award on behalf of the Lundahl Lion Buddies program at the FaithBridge Interfaith Breakfast on January 16.

The Lundahl Lion Buddies program fosters relationships and builds connections between general education students and students in the school’s Aspire autism program. The award is presented annually on Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday to a person or organization whose actions exemplify Judy Engebretson’s commitment to peace, justice, compassion, and mutual understanding. Engebretson was a former educator at Lundahl.
