COVID-19 Daily Health Screening
Daily health screenings are required for PreK-2 students and students in special education attending school in-person starting Mon., Jan. 11th. Parents/guardians will be expected to log into ParentVue each school day by 7:30am to complete a brief COVID-19 health screener. The screener can be accessed via ParentVue (mobile app or on the web) starting at 5am. The screener will prompt parents/guardians to check their child’s temperature and answer questions to ensure their child is free of COVID-like symptoms*. If a child has a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher and/or has any COVID-like symptoms, they should remain at home. Reminder: If a child is kept home for any reason, please contact the school’s attendance line to report the absence.
For one week only (the week of January 11-15, 2021), families will receive a phone call, text message and email at 7am as a reminder to complete this process. A second notification will be sent out if this process isn’t completed by 7:30am.
