Girls Conference Basketball tryouts

The following is required prior to trying out: 

1. Must be registered in Snap! Manage for 7th OR 8th Girls Conference Basketball.  Please visit our school website for the link.

2. Updated physical must be on file in the health office.

You will not be allowed to try out without having completed the above mentioned requirements.

Tryout dates & times: 

7th Grade

• Wednesday, Dec 13, 2023 from 3:00 - 4:00 pm  (Players will wait in Main Gym after school for the Staff meeting to end)
• Thursday, Dec 14, 2023 from 2:30 - 4:00 pm

8th Grade

• Monday, Dec 11, 2023 from 2:30 - 4 pm
• Tuesday, Dec, 12, 2023 from 2:30 to 4 pm

Final team selections will be posted on Thursday.  We will have our first team practice on the first day when we return from the Winter Break.       

Early season practices will run 2:30 - 4:30, and as we get a little deeper into the season 2:30 - 4:00 PM. Those selected for the team will receive a season calendar before leaving for the Winter Break. 

If you have trouble picking up your player from the tryout, a practice or games, then your player should not try out for the team. All players should be picked up promptly at the times designated on the calendar. Players must be picked up by a member of the family at games and not a ride share company.

I am aware that your player may be active in another sport or activity, and this may create commitment conflicts.  If you or your child feel a commitment to the team may be a challenge, we will also be offering girls city league basketball starting in mid-January.

Cost:  D47 Athletic Fee $75.00 will be billed to ParentVue once the roster is set.
