I have experience with bilingual literacy instruction (English and Spanish), guided reading using the Fountas & Pinnell framework, and implementing multisensory strategies to support reading and writing. I differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with ADHD, autism, and emerging bilinguals. My instruction emphasizes grammar, sentence structure, and narrative writing development, as well as fostering student confidence as readers and writers. In mathematics, I have experience teaching with Bridges and Number Corner routines, focusing on number sense, problem-solving strategies, and encouraging math talk to build reasoning. I use visuals, manipulatives, and real-life contexts to support understanding, while differentiating instruction and supporting math vocabulary in both English and Spanish. |
