Hi Everyone! I am excited to share a few home extensions ideas that you may want to investigate to extend STEM learning time. STEM's purpose is to identify problems and create solutions using Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Resources you have at home that model STEM's objective include: cooking, gardening, and board games! The challenge is realizing a FAIL (first attempt in learning) is not bad, it simply means we need to try again. When you make brownies and they don't taste good it wasn't on purpose. It may because you measured wrong or picked up the wrong ingredient. If you are a family looking for some at home science experiments try these simple and fun experiments https://thekidshouldseethis.com/post/ten-easy-home-science-experiments-kids. Stay Well! Mrs. Wise
Hi Families! I am so glad that you are checking out Coventry's STEM Page! With us not being together for the time being you will find on the right side of the screen a folder named Remote Learning. Currently, you will find a bingo card for each grade level that will cover extensions for your STEM class. This is the same card that your classroom teacher shared with you to use for your respective Encore time. Additionally, you will soon be able to find more investigations in your grade level folder! I look forward to seeing you at one of your classroom meetings in the very near future.
