    REMOTE LEARNING

     

    I have missed all of my students very much! Now that we have started remote learning I have attached the BINGO sheet (or art class options) for art ENCORE starting with kindergarten.  I have limited the supplies students need to use to create.  Please do not hesitate to add any art supplies you may have at home to make this lesson more inviting to students.  Please have fun with these activites and done't hesitate to reach out! 

     

     KINDERGARTEN ART - 

    * Please select one activity to complete on the day you would have art as an encore.  Have fun with it!  It's ok if you do it 'your way' and change the assinment to meet your needs.

     

     

    * Draw a penguin family and their habitat.  Use any drawing or painting supplies.

     

     

         
     

    * Using any drawing or painting supplies Draw or paint a frog and its habitat.

     

     

         
     

    * Can you mix a frog with a penguin?  Try and draw a frog-penguin!

     

     

         
     

    * Build something.  Use materials from home, legos, blocks, playdough etc.

     

     

         
     

    * Draw a picture of yourself as a superhero.

         

     

    1st Grade Art - 

    * Please select one activity to complete on the day you would have art as an encore.  Have fun with it!  It's ok if you do it 'your way' and change the assinment to meet your needs.

     

     

    *  Draw & Color a butterfly.  Use shapes and lines in the wings.

     

    * Paint or Color a drawing of your favorite animal.

     

    * Draw your portrait and/or a portrait of a family member.

     

    * Draw or paint a monster.

     

    * Use objects around your house to build something. Legos, blocks, playdough etc.

     

     

    2nd Grade Art 

    * Please select one activity to complete on the day you would have art as an encore.  Have fun with it!  It's ok if you do it 'your way' and change the assinment to meet your needs.

     

     

    * Using material in your house, build something.  Legos, blocks, playdough.

     

    * Paint or Color a drawing of your favorite animal.

     

    * Draw your portrait and/or a portrait of a family member.

     

    * Draw a picture using rotational symmetry.

     

     

    * Draw a picture of yourself at a circus or fair.  

     

    Third Grade Art  

    * Please select one activity to complete on the day you would have art as an encore.  Have fun with it!  It's ok if you do it 'your way' and change the assinment to meet your needs.

     

     

    * Make an optical illusion.  draw small shapes (like circles or squares) in the center of your paper.  Let the shape get bigger and bigger as it goes to off edges of paper.

     

    * Build something using materials from your home.  Legos, blocks, playdough, card board etc.

     

    * Draw your bedroom.  Color it in if you have the art supplies.

     

    * Set up some of your favorite objects from your room and draw a picture of them.  This is a ‘still life’ drawing.   

     

    * Try to copy a picture from your favorite book.

     

     

     

    Fourth Grade Art

    * Please select one activity to complete on the day you would have art as an encore.  Have fun with it!  It's ok if you do it 'your way' and change the assinment to meet your needs.

     

     

    * Copy a picture from your favorite book.

     

    * Build something using materials from your house like blocks, playdough, cardboard, tape etc.

     

    * Work on your shading by drawing something in your house and shading it with pencil.

     

    * Find an animal to draw from Kids National Geographic.

    Try shading it with pencil.

     

    * Set up some of your favorite objects from your room and draw a picture of them.  This is a ‘still life’ drawing.  

     

    Fifth Grade Art

    * Please select one activity to complete on the day you would have art as an encore.  Have fun with it!  It's ok if you do it 'your way' and change the assinment to meet your needs.

     

     

    * Set up some of your favorite objects from your home and draw them.  This is a ‘still life’.

     

    * Look in the mirror and draw a picture of your self.

     

    * Listen to your favorite song and draw srepeating shapes, lines, patterns, and colors to the music.

     

    * Find an animal to draw from Kids National Geographic.

    If you have paint try to paint it.

     

    * Try to copy a picture from a book you are reading.
