I've been teaching at Bernotas Middle School since 1990.  I taught 6th grade for 11 years and then switched to 8th grade Science.  

Other responsiblities include coaching cross country, and scorekeeping for basketball, volleyball, and wrestling.

I am married and have two grown daughters.  Kayla also works in District 47 (Hearing Itinerant) and Claire is in Grad School at Tuck (Dartmouth). 

Outside of school I enjoy walking, reading, watching the Blackhawks and Bears, and traveling up north.
