ParentSquare
Crystal Lake Elementary District 47 communicates with families through ParentSquare, delivering updates via email, text, and app notifications.
ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent/guardian, using the contact information in ParentVUE.
With ParentSquare families will be able to:
- Receive messages from school via email, text or mobile app.
- Choose to receive information as it comes (Instant) or all at once at around 6:00 pm (Daily Digest).
- Communicate in your preferred language.
- Send two-way texts with automated translation between staff and families.
- Use the same communication tool for all students attending District 47 and District 155.
We encourage parents to log in to their accounts to download the mobile app and customize their notification preferences.
Replacing the District 47 App
The ParentSquare app has replaced the current District 47 app. Download the free mobile app for iOS or Android. It offers the same features as the previous D47 app, including:
- Push notifications
- Syncing school calendars with your personal calendar
- Access to staff directories, ParentVUE attendance reporting, lunch menus, and more
