Karlene Ernat Earns McHenry County Elementary Educator of the Year Award
District 47 is proud to congratulate Woods Creek Elementary fourth grade teacher Karlene Ernat on earning the 2026 McHenry County Regional Office of Education Elementary Educator of the Year!
Karlene was recognized during the annual Educator of the Year Awards ceremony hosted by the McHenry County Regional Office of Education on May 9, 2026. The awards were presented by McHenry County Regional Superintendent of Schools Diana Hartmann and celebrated outstanding educators and school staff members from across McHenry County who make a lasting impact on students, schools, and their communities.
