Boundary Review
District 47 has initiated a comprehensive review of school district boundaries to ensure balanced enrollment and efficient use of facilities. The first phase of this work focused on our three middle schools, and boundary adjustments for those schools have already taken effect for the 2025–2026 school year.
The committee has now moved into phase two, which focuses on reviewing elementary school boundaries. This work includes analyzing current enrollment data, population trends (including several new housing developments), geographic considerations, and other relevant factors to determine whether adjustments are needed.
The Boundary Committee, comprised of board members, administrators, staff, parents/guardians, and community representatives, continues to meet regularly to review data and develop recommendations.
This page will be updated regularly as the process progresses.
