    EFFORT/SKILL DEVELOPMENT: (4 points)

     

    The student…

    4 - will fully engage in individual/group fitness or skill-building activities with energy and enthusiasm and displays excellent improvement in execution of skills.  The student shows a high motivation to improve on their fitness levels.

    3 - will usually engage in individual/group fitness or skill-building activities with energy and enthusiasm and displays adequate improvement in execution of skills.  The student shows adequate concern for their level of fitness.

    2 - will seldomly engage in individual/group fitness or skill-building activities with energy and enthusiasm and displays some improvement in execution of skills.  The student occasionally shows some concern for their level of fitness.

    1 - does not engage in individual/group fitness or skill-building activities with energy and enthusiasm and displays little improvement in execution of skills.  The student has little concern for their level of fitness.



    COOPERATION: (4 points)

    4 - works well with others (teacher included) toward common goals (sportsmanship).

    3-  will usually works well with others (teacher included) toward common goals (sportsmanship).

    2 - seldomly works well with others (teacher included) toward common goals (sportsmanship).

    1 - fails to work well with others (teacher included) and has difficulty engaging with others in assuming a common goal.

    2 - is aware of safety implications of their surroundings and personal well-being and will take  appropriate actions.

    0 - does not demonstrate an awareness of the safety implications to themselves or others physically and or emotionally.
