Degrees and Certifications:
Welcome to Lundahl Middle School and 6th grade! A little about me...
This year will be my 30th year at Lundahl! I began teaching here in 1990 as a 7th and 8th grade language arts teacher. I eventually transitioned to teaching only 8th grade language arts, and then 8th grade language arts and social studies, Now I am in my fifth year as a 6th grade language arts teacher. I enjoy working with all grade levels at the middle school and helping 6th graders transition successfully from the elementary to the middle school environment. I attended the University of Iowa, received my teaching degree from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, and my masters degree in educational technology from National-Louis University in Evanston, Illinois. My son Braeden is a freshman at Johnsburg High School, and he runs cross country and plays basketball and baseball. We also live with and love our crazy rescue dog Dixie, a Rat-Staff Terrier.
I am looking forward to getting acquainted and partnering with you for a successful 6th grade year! Feel free to contact me by email or voicemail with any questions and/or concerns.
