Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Jeni Preski
I began my career in District 47 shortly after graduating from Illinois State University in December of 2001. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, with middle school endorsements in both Language Arts and Social Science. I spent the first 4 years of my teaching career at Glacier Ridge Elementary School, looping with my Second Graders up to Third Grade. In 2005, after a brief maternity leave, I returned to Glacier Ridge and began teaching Fourth Grade. In 2011, I pursued an LBS1 Certification from Roosevelt University and promptly joined the Learning Resource team at Glacier Ridge. During that time I was both a Learning Specialist and RTI Interventionist, working with students in Grades K-5. In 2015, I had the amazing opportunity to join the Learning Resource team here at Lundahl! I work with the surrounding elementary schools to help ensure our incoming 5th Graders make a smooth transition to 6th Grade. I love working with middle school students and believe in creating a classroom atmosphere that makes students feel safe and welcome. When I’m not busy teaching or serving on district/building committees, I’m also a proud Mother to Ethan (15) and Madison (12), who keep me busy with robotics competitions and dance!
