Mrs. Hildebrand

Welcome to 7th grade life science!! I'm looking forward to meeting you all and making this the best school year yet!

I earned my Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Western Illinois University in 2012 with middle school endorsements in Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies. I am currently enrolled at Olivet Nazarene University, working on my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and only have a few classes left! I also coach cheerleading at South High School.

When I am not teaching or coaching, I am probably doing some wedding planning. Gil and I are getting married on New Year's Eve of this year, so there is much to do! I also like to do small projects around our house. We have many of the big projects done, but there it seems that the list is never-ending! If I am not working on the house, I am cuddling with our 9 month old kittens named Edith and Susan. They are sisters, but look nothing alike - one is a tortishell and the other is all black. Some of my other hobbies include playing sand volleyball, skiing/snowboarding, reading, and doing anything crafty.

This is my fourth year here at Lundahl, and I am beyond excited to get started with the new school year. I am very passionate about teaching and love what I do, and I believe that my enthusiasm spills over to my students and encourages them to become lifelong learners. I am looking forward to a very fun-filled 2019-2020 school year!
