Degrees and Certifications:
Teresa Wolf began her teaching as a substitute teacher in the Davenport, Iowa local area. The following year, she taught 3rd grade in Princeton, Iowa where she taught science to all the 3rd graders at Virgil Grissom Elementary School. During this time, she received her Masters Degree in Elementary Science from Western Illinois University. She then moved to Wheeling School District as a traveling district elementary science teacher who wrote the curriculum for K-6th grade. A big part of this position was also in-servicing the teachers on the new units that would be going back into the classroom. In 2005, Teresa moved into District 47's Science Specialist role. Teresa is passionate about science and those connections to all the other content areas within the classroom. She has worked with the literacy coaches at most of the elementary buildings developing science text set boxes that align with the NGSS standards. During this time, Teresa received her Masters in Educational Leadership from Concordia University. In 2014, her role shifted to become the STEM Encore Teacher at West Elementary School.
