To support our families with remote learning at home, our tech solutions team has created a series of videos for parents as well as access to GoGuardian, an internet filtering tool that allows parents to monitor their children's online activity.
Common Chromebook Troubleshooting Tips
1) A soft reset can help resolve problems with the sound not working, the device is frozen, or flickering screen. A soft reset can be done by pressing the "Refresh and Power" at the same time as seen here:
2) Wiping your Chromebook is a technique that is used to take the Chromebook back to "factory defaults". If your microphone or webcam is not working or your Chromebook feels sluggish, you can try wiping your Chromebook by following these steps here in this short video. Upon completion, the device will automatically enrolled to District 47. This may take a few minutes. After it completes, login as normal and check if the issue is resolved.
