Common Chromebook Troubleshooting Tips
1) A soft reset can help resolve problems with the sound not working, the device is frozen, or flickering screen. A soft reset can be done by pressing the "Refresh and Power" at the same time as seen here:
2) Wiping your Chromebook is a technique that is used to take the Chromebook back to "factory defaults". If your microphone or webcam is not working or your Chromebook feels sluggish, you can try wiping your Chromebook by following these steps here in this short video. Upon completion, the device will automatically enrolled to District 47. This may take a few minutes. After it completes, login as normal and check if the issue is resolved.
3) If these steps doesn't resolve the problem, please start a live chat and we'll be happy to help.
"D47 FREE" Wifi is Available
For the duration of the remote learning, we have extended our building wireless to reach into the parking lots at all school buildings. This will open up the ability to drive-up and access the Internet and remain in the car. View the maps below to find the best hot spots at each school building.
