    Students in my 1, 2, and 4 classes wrote, reviewed roots/affixes, and read Peak.

    Students in my 3 class printed and performed monologues.

     

    Everyone should read and study 33/34 roots/affixes for this Friday's quiz.  As well, students should wear their high school apparel/colors for spirit day tomorrow.

     

    SnL lunch is now limited to Tuesdays.  Students are welcome to come to SnL Tuesday lunches for help, to make up work, to study.

    Yesterday, students went to the Museum of Science and Industry yesterday.

    Today, students took their 31/32 roots/affixes quiz and prepared for next week's quiz.  As well, students read Peak.

    Students in my core three class took their quiz and performed and submitted monologues.

    Students in cores 1, 2, 4 read Peak and continued reading picutre books to identify elements of fiction.

    Students in core 3 read Peak and continued refining their comedic and dramatic monologues.  The two monologues are due on Friday, and one is to be performed on Friday.

    All students should read and study 31/32 roots/affixes.

    All students should pack a sack lunch for tomorrow's field trip.

    Students in core classes 1, 2, and 4 read Peak and identified literary elements as they read various picture books.

    Students in core 3 read Peak and worked to refine their comedic and dramatic monologues.

     

    Students should read and study 31/32 roots/affixes.

    Students finished the readers' theater they began on Friday with Miss Plunkett.  They also checked grades and made a plan for submitting missing work.

    Students took their 29/30 roots/affixes quiz, began study of their 31/32 roots/affixes units, and engaged in a readers' theater.

    Students in core 3 continued their monologue compositions.

    Scholars in cores 1, 2, and 4 finished their reading and comprehension work from yesterday on the story called "The Dog of Pompeii."  They also reviewed 29/30 roofts/affixes for this Friday's quiz and independently read.

    Monologuists in core 3 continued composing their dramatic and comedic monologues, which are due on Monday.

    Everyone should review 29/30 roots/affixes at home each night and read.

    Readers in cores 1, 2, and 4 read "The Dog of Pompeii" and completed a selection test focusing on fact/fiction of the historical fiction piece.

    Monologuists in core 3 continued brainstorming, planning, and composing their comedic and dramatic monologues.

     

    All students should study 29/30 roots/affixes and read.  It is imperative that all students spend ten minutes studying roots/affixes and at least 30 minutes reading.  Thank you so much for your vital at-home support.
