District 47 recently hosted a successful Resource Fair, providing essential services and resources to prepare students for the new school year. On behalf of the Transportation Joint Agreement (TJA), Crystal Lake School District 47 and Community High School District 155 are excited to announce the approval of a $1,686,200 grant for the purchase of four electric buses and corresponding chargers. TJA is owned and operated by District 47 and District 155, providing transportation services to nine elementary schools, three middle schools, four high schools, and two parochial schools.

BPAC Literacy Night

The District 47 Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee (BPAC) hosted a Multicultural Literacy Night at Glacier Ridge Elementary School, aimed to honor and celebrate the diverse cultures within District 47. Multicultural Literacy Night provides a unique opportunity for students, families, faculty, and staff to explore various countries, cultures, and traditions through literacy.
