Crystal Lake Elementary District 47’s Director of Operations, Dave Schuh, has been named the 2025 Midwest Facility Director of the Year by the Wisconsin Association of School Business Officials (WASBO).

North Elementary is proud to welcome Jessica Korn, a student teacher from Iowa State University, to Summer Margiotta’s first grade classroom this fall. For Jessica, returning to District 47 has been a full-circle moment.

This year’s District-Wide Resource Fair showed just how powerful our community can be when we work together. Over 200 students and their families took part in a day dedicated to getting ready for the new school year—leaving with not just supplies, but also the confidence and readiness to start strong.
