Cell Phone Policy

Did you know??

During the school day, a student may carry a cell phone on their person, but must have it turned off at all times including lunch and any off campus activities.  If the student ues the phone or if the phone has disrupted a class, the phone will be confiscated and taken to the office. Cell phones should be set to silent/vibrate at all times on a school bus.

Consequences:
  • 1st offense - Phone taken to office, student reminded of proper usage.  Student picks up phone at the end of the day.
  • 2nd offense - Parent must pick up phone from office.
  • 3rd offense - Cell phone must be dropped off in the office at the beginning of the day and picked up at the end of the day for the remainder of the school year.

"New advances in technology are making it easier than ever to stay connected! However, like cell phones, the new “smart” watches can distract students and disrupt the learning environment during the school day. We ask that students wearing “smart” watches to school place the device in silent or “airplane” mode during school hours."
