Volleyball Tryouts-Practices |
|
 Due to some minor water damage to the gym floor, some Volleyball Tryouts and practices will be held at both RBMS and Ridgefield. Please refer to the following dates and times. Remember-all students MUST have a physical on file to tryout.
Thursday, August 26th-8th grade-2:30-4:00, 7th grade-4:00-5:30 @ RBMS
Friday, August 27th-7th grade 2:30-4:00 @ RBMS, 8th grade no tryouts
Monday, August 30th-8th grade 2:30-4:00 @ RBMS, 7th grade 2:30-4:30 @ Ridgefield
The dates above are for tryouts for all students.
The following dates will all be practices:
2:30-4:30--8/31, 9/1, 9/2, 9/3-Both 7th & 8th grade will go to Ridgefield
2:30-4:30--9/7-Both 7th & 8th grade will go to Ridgefield
3:00-5:00--9/8-Both 7th & 8th grade will go to Ridgefield
2:30-4:30--9/10-Both 7th & 8th grade will go to Ridgefield
Parents will need to pick up from Ridgefield.

 Dear Parents:
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Richard F. Bernotas Middle School and the beginning of a great school year. The staff has been working hard preparing this year’s curriculum, and we look forward to sharing it with you on Parent Night, Thursday, September 2nd, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. If your student is in band, please arrive at 6:15 pm to meet with the band teachers.

 Did you know that your student's teachers have Newsletters that go out to keep you updated with what is going on in their classes? You can keep yourself in the loop by clicking on the RBMS Team Newsletters link on the left side of this page. These newsletters will keep you informed.

 If you are interested in the sport of golf the 2010 Bernotas Middle School Golf Club will have an informational meeting on Wednesday, September 1st , 2010. We will meet from 2:15 to 2:30. Have rides here at 2:30. The first meeting is on September 14th, 2010. We will travel to Lippold Family Golf Center for our club meetings. We will be at Lippold from 2:30 to 3:30 on September 14,21,28. Have rides at Lippold at 3:30. The club will consist of rules, strategies, club selections, and course management. We will go the next four weeks in September and finish with a club tournament at Golf Club of Illinois the first week of October. Please see Mr. Krol or Mrs. Clark for details.
