PTO Schedule of Events 2009-2010
The following is a list of dates for PTO sponsored events.
We do not have the exact dates for all of the events, however, we can give you the month in which your event it scheduled. All dates are pending approval.
Staff Appreciation: October, Christmas time, February and May
Fall Fundraiser: Begins 9/1 Ends 9/15 Pickup 10/14 Extreme Event 11/6 7-9pm
Spirit Wear: Fall
TAP: Daily work hours are 9-11 am or 12-2 pm
Book Fair: Fall: begin 11/30 Ends 12/4 Spring: TBD
6th Grade Activity Night: 9/25, 1/15, 3/5
Honor Roll Breakfast: 6th Grade-4/6-4/8, 7th-4/9, 8th-4/13
8th Grade Dance: May 22, 2010. First meeting sometime in Feb/March.
PTO Meeting dates: 9/1,10/6,11/3,12/1,1/5,2/2,3/2,4/6,5/4 and 6/1
All PTO meetings start @ 7:30 and are held in the media center.

Hannah Beardsley Middle School Parent Teacher Organization The following amendments to the Hannah Beardsley Middle School Parent Teacher Organization Constitution are proposed:
1. Article II - Finances, Section 5: the Section shall be redrafted to read: “An amount of available funds should be carried forward to the new fiscal year, sufficient to cover the basic operating expenditures of the organization, until the fundraiser revenues are collected and available.”
2. Article II - Finances, Section 6: the Section shall be redrafted to read: “Non-budgeted expenditures will be proposed to the general membership at a meeting by any member present during such meeting.”
3. Article VI – Terms of Office, Section 1: replace the period (from the end of the sentence) with a comma and add “unless other leadership is not available.”
