Reading is a great activity to keep your Middle School student learning and growing over summer. There are many book lists that students can choose from including:
- Rebecca Caudill List : top books for grades 4-8
- Abraham Lincoln: Grades 9-12
- YALSA website - includes book lists for students ages 12-18
As always, check in with your student about what they are reading and monitor the maturity level of the book. But remember the most important step... KEEP READING!
