School Improvement Plan
“The format of the school improvement plan is in the process of being changed to reflect the reporting system of record that the State of Illinois is asking schools to use beginning during the 12-13 school year. As a result, the summary/document that has been posted on the school's website in past years will no longer be posted each fall.
School staff is currently being trained and participating in the State's new continuous school improvement process. This process has the staff accessing our current practices and policies through the use of indicators that gauge the effective use of resources and instruction to impact student achievement. As we rate our progress on each indicator, we are determining what is in place that is working and what adjustments are needed to achieve our goal of increasing student achievement. As we continue through the process over the course of the school year, the website will be updated with more information. Please continue to visit the site throughout the year for updates.”
