    Summer Party
The PTO is hosting its second annual all school summer themed dance party on February 3rd from 6-8pm. It is South's highlight of the year for students and their families and students are already talking about the dance and getting hyped for the fun! However, the PTO is so short on volunteers that the dance may have to be cancelled. Please click the link below to sign up by January 20th to help keep this Sabre Cat family event. Thank you!

    District 47 Survey

Once a year, District 47 conducts its own survey to receive feedback from parents about their educational experience. Parent feedback provides our teachers and administration with important information about what we are doing well as well as areas in which we can improve. The survey, which takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete, is open now through January 31, 2017.

Parents are encouraged to complete one survey for each child attending school in District 47. We thank you in advance for taking the time to share your perspective. Please click one of the links below to get started:

  • Car Riders and Morning Drop Off

Posted by Heather Nelson at 11/9/2016

For morning arrival, if your child is a car rider, please ensure they are dropped off between 8:30-8:50am. Students dropped off between 8:50-9:00am, need to proceed through the front door and go directly to their classroom. Any child being dropped off at 9:00 am or later, classroom instruction has already begun and parents will need to come in to sign the child in at the front office.  Thank you for your assistance making sure our students are here on time, ready to start their day!
