 TO THE STUDENT TEACHER OR STUDENT TEACHER PLACEMENT COORDINATOR:
To be considered for a student teaching/clinical experience placement in one of our District 47 Schools, please ask the student teacher coordinator at your university to contact the District 47 Human Resources office.

In order to be considered, you are required to submit the materials listed below. Please send/email all
required materials in one packet/email.
- A written request for placement from your university’s student teacher coordinator or School of Education noting the desired dates and specific grade level and/or subject area for placement
- An unofficial transcript reflecting all university coursework
- Evidence of a negative TB test
The application materials you provide will be scanned into our student teacher data bank and available for review by building and district administrators responsible for selecting student teachers. Interviews with candidates for student teaching placement will be scheduled only after receipt of all above documentation.
Due to the high volume of requests we receive, please be patient while students’ materials are processed for consideration.
Submission of materials for student teaching does not guarantee placement in School
District 47.
