Welcome to the Crystal Lake District 47 Homepage |
The district has the largest student enrollment in McHenry County just under 9,000 students. These students are housed in 12 buildings consisting of nine elementary schools and three middle schools. We also have an early childhood center adjacent to an elementary school that houses approximately 275 special preschool students.  Some new safety laws were put into effect for drivers in the state of Illinois on January 1st. These aim to limit distracted drivers behind the wheel and thus reduce vehicular crashes due to these diversions. The new driving laws are explained below:

 C.O.R.E. office (Administration building) Hours are to 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.. New student registration hours are 7:30 am until 3:00 pm Monday thru Thursday In conjunction with the Crystal Lake Park District, extended time (ET) childcare is available before or after school.
