Listen up Lundahl! Jan. 23-Jan 27 is wear RED week. This is to promote awareness for the American Heart Association.
T-Shirts will be sold during lunch periods for $10.00 a shirt. Also, if you wear RED during the girls crosstown battle basketball game against Beardsley on Thursday, Jan 26th, you get in Free!!!! Support a great cause and our girls athletics.
Student council will be participating in Pasta for Patients, which is a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Homerooms will be collecting money from February 13th until March 3. The homeroom that raises the most money will receive a free Olive Garden Lunch.
Along with raising money in homeroom classes, student council host three fun events…
The LMS Science Olympiad Team will meet this afternoon until 3:30 in lab 3, Mrs. Rafferty's room. Our yearbook picture will be taken. All members need to attend.
Photography Club will meet tomorrow afternoon in Mr. Klinsky’s computer lab until 4. We will be introducing Photoshop and some basics of photo manipulation. Everyone is welcome. Email yourself a couple of photos you may want to work on otherwise images may be provided.
Scholastic team will have an optional practice on this Thursday in Room 114, Mrs. Chakoian's room.
MTG Club is back!! We will meet this afternoon until 3:30 in Lab 2.
NJHS Members…we need you! Please sign up to work the concession stand for the Home Conference Girls Basketball games and the Wrestling Meets. The sign-up sheets are outside the Tech Office on the bulletin board. Sign up now!!
Attention 8th grade students. We need you to mark your calendar with a couple of very important dates. January 26th, the high school district is holding a Curriculum Night from 6:00 until 8:00 to help you with your course selection. It is strongly recommended that you and your parents attend. February 2nd is the night that you will go to the high school that you will be attending and do the actual course selection. It is mandatory for all incoming Freshman to attend this. Watch your mail for more detailed information from the high school district.
Reminder to all students…you will lose your phone if you have them out or on during the course of the school day. Phones should either be in your locker turned off or you may have it with you but it must be turned off. If phones are out and on, they will be taken.
It is not too late to order your yearbook but February 3rd is the last day you will be ablt to!! The price is now $25.00. Order online or see Mrs. Lawson or Mrs. Avery today for an order form.
